Mandy presented her project from last summer’s immersion term at the annual meeting of the Orthopaedic Research Society in Orlando: Tension Increases Teriparatide-Induced Bone Formation More Than Compression in the Human Femoral Neck. This work was presented both as a poster and 1-minute oral poster teaser. Her immersion mentor, Dr. Mathias Bostrom of Hospital for Special Surgery, is not only the senior author but also the ORS president.
