In another piece of good news, Frank’s study examining a single bout of in vivo loading and development of OA-like degeneration in the knee joint was accepted to the Journal of Orthopaedic Research. His paper is entitled: “Progressive cell-mediated changes in articular cartilage and bone in mice are initiated by a single session of controlled cyclic compressive loading.” The authors are Frank Ko, Cecilia Dragomir, Darren Plumb, Alison Hsia, Funmi Adebayo, Steve Goldring, Tim Wright, Mary Goldring and Marjolein van der Meulen. Quite a list for a broad-based set of analyses.
