Wow a major missing update: In the first week of August, Natalie successfully defended her PhD. Her thesis is entitled: Transcriptomic analysis of cortical versus cancellous bone in response
to mechanical loading and estrogen signaling. Her committee included Professors Jan Lammerding and John Schimenti. The Kelly clan set a record for family support of a PhD candidate, both in terms of attendance numbers and “team spirit” including an awesome t-shirt congratulating the newly minted B-B-B-B-Bad to the Bone Dr. Kelly, orchestrated by Felice, one of the prior Dr. Kellys.
