Professor Clare Rimnac visited from Case Western Reserve for the MSE Seminar: The Continuing Importance of Materials Science & Failure Analysis in Monitoring the Performance of Total Hip & Knee Replacements. Afterwards the Cornell orthopaedic researchers hosted Dr. Rimnac for a lovely dinner that included lots of wonderful stories from Professor Bartel.
