Funmi, Julia, Derek and Marjolein attended the 5th Annual Musculoskeletal Repair and Regeneration Symposium at Albert Einstein on October 13. Interesting guest speakers included Johnny Huard, Dawn Elliott and Clint Rubin. Derek presented a poster: Mice with a collagen XI mutation show lower susceptibility to loadinduced cartilage damage and have thinner, less dense cortical bone. Marjolein presented our recent bone adaptation data: Role of estrogen signaling in load-based skeletal adaptation.
