Wonderful to catch up with Alicia Bailon-Plaza while I was in France 2 weeks ago, despite the 95 degree temps. Alicia was the first PhD to graduate from my group after working in the lab during her senior year. Last time I saw her was in 2009 – too long ago. Lovely to hear about her daughters and see Bertrand as well.
